Energetic - Berryblossom is a hyper kitten. With boundless energy she works in her clan to do her job to the best of her ability. She has so much energy that she'll often get ahead of herself and forget certain things. Regardless, she'll devote her time to her clan.

Courageous - She isn't easily scared by stories and she won't back down from someone twice her size. She's not a pushover and she'll even speak her mind to someone older than her.

Passionate - Despite being born outside of the clans, she values Rushingclan tremendously. She may act silly and argue, but she takes the role of a medicine cat apprentice very seriously.

Neutral
Determined - As she takes her role very seriously, she often goes long hours memorizing herbs and prophecies. She'll go to the elders den and ask about stories of previous medicine cats so that she'll learn from the past.

Emotional - Berryblossom is not one to hide her emotions on the inside. When she's angry, she'll make it obvious that she's angry and make it obvious how she's feeling.

Stubborn - Berryblossom shows determination, even when someone else would give up easily.

Negative
Bitter - Berryblossom can certainly hold grudges, not speaking to even the leader of Rushingclan until the death of her mentor. She feels that she's entitled to being bitter, only thinking about the bad thing that have happened in her life, rather than thinking about the things that have happened to other felines. 

Self-Sacrificing -  Berryblossom will put Rushingclan first, before her own health, because she believes that's what a good medicine cat would do. She still has a lot of unprocessed grief and anger surrounding her father leaving and her mentor's death that she doesn't face in order to be there for the cats around her. 

Reckless - Berryblossom would take more risks than necessary for a medicine cat. She lets her instincts and body do the actions before she can think through her actions.</sub>

[Summary]

    Light, it was the first thing she saw when she opened her little eyes for the first time. Though it was a new experience, she only felt warmth and the sweet, milky scent coming from her mother as her eyes focused on the world around her. The blurriness faded as she began to see something shine as she focused all her attention on the object. It dangled and beamed around her mother’s throat, which she looked up to see in better detail. Her face was soft, looking down at the tiny kit, and the kitten had never felt so safe then staring into her mother’s eyes. Her mother washed the kit, and she spoke to her in such a soft voice. The kitten felt so much love as she cuddled into her mother’s arms, watching her mother watch her. All she remembered when she fell back asleep was the warm glint of the object around her throat.

    In the next days, the kit began to explore the new world for herself. She didn’t have any other siblings, but that meant more of her mother’s time and attention. She ran around in top speeds, trying to remember every nook and cranny she could get her little paws on. When she was much younger, she would sit lazily under her mother’s arms and get washed as she lazily bat around her shiny object, which her mother stated was her collar tag. Later on, she was able to go outside with her mother. The outdoors were huge and the kitten felt incredibly small. However, she felt her mother around her and knew she was safe. She quickly grew courageous as she went to explore. She found the ground soft and squishy under her tiny paws, and saw a little puddle that she went to go investigate. She mewed at her appearance in delight as she finally got a good look. She was short and stout, just like her mother. She was happy being by her mother's side.

    However, at four moons a tom cat came. He wore a strange scent, one more earthy and wild as she questioned her mother who he was. Her mother quickly stated that he was her father, which delighted Berrykit. Though it took awhile for them to meet, Wildmane was a kind and gentle cat. He would bring her gifts from the forest such as honey and mice so she can start to wean. He went on to tell her about how everyday was an adventure and how she could go hunt in the woods everyday. Berrykit was excited about the sound of clan life.

One day Wildmane offered her if she wanted to join his clan. While Berrykit was excited, she worried about leaving her mother alone. Her mother said that if she ever wanted to return to her, she'll be here. While Berrykit was sad to leave, she wanted to make her mother and father proud. Berrykit and Wildmane left when she was four moons. They didn't have to travel far, and when they got to Rushingclan Wildmane had to explain that Berrykit was his. He kept Berrykit's mother a secret, but anyone could make an educated guess about Berrykit.

Still, Berrykit was accepted into the nursery and the caretakers took care of her. Though the nursery was nice, Berrykit wandered towards a new scent: The medicine cat's den. Berrykit liked the scents from the den and found each plant in the den to have it's own unique scent. No matter how many times she was kicked out, she would always come back and question the medicine cat about certain herbs and what they were used for.

Quickly approaching apprenticeship, Berrykit began to wonder what she should become. She could become a warrior like her father, or become a caertaker and take care of kits like her mother. While she pondered her place in the clan, a strong wind blew in the camp, and a clump of leaves fell out the medicine cat's den. Berrykit actually recognized them to be raspberry leaves, and thought it must be a sign. She went to go plead with the medicine cat to take her as an apprentice.

Berrykit became Berrypaw and while she was setting up her place in the medicine cat's den, she found something shiny in one of the moss. It resembled a cat's claw, but much longer and thicker as it shined in the sun. Berrypaw couldn't help the feeling as she remembered her mother's collar. She didn't know why, but Berrypaw hid the object behind the medicine cat's den, and began to collect things that she found.

As time went on so many things happened. She tried to help the leader, but they snapped at her, leading to a strain relationship which led them to not talking to each other for awhile. Besides that Wildmane, unable to cope with the warrior's life, decided to go to Cream and try to live as a kittypet with her. It hurt Berrypaw when her father left, leaving her more bitter and determined to help Rushingclan. 

One day, Berrypaw woke up to the sound of rain. She tried to wake her mentor up, but then found her dead. She had apparently died in her sleep, probably related to her blindness in some way. Berrypaw had called Moonstar, and together the two mourned for Squirrelheart. They had grown closer from the experience, and it had made Berryblossom respect Moonstar for the kindness they had shown to Berryblossom. 

With the death of her mentor, it was now Berrypaw's turn to become full medicine cat. She wasn't able to finish her training with Squirrelheart, but she was still eager to prove herself. Berryblossom figured that she had to proved herself more, and be even better than Squirrelheart and Juniperpounce to honor their memory. She started her own garden in hopes of getting the needed herbs, and started to train with other warriors to be a better fighter to defend herself and her home. She hopes that she can do Rushingclan proud.
